Roller and Solar Shades

A single fabric on a single roll, cut to your opening. The weave decides what it does: an open solar weave keeps the view while cutting glare and heat, a dense blackout weave shuts the light out almost entirely.

  • Openness levels from clear-view solar to near-total blackout
  • Cuts a significant share of UV and solar heat gain
  • Cordless, chain or motorized lift
  • Sits flat and almost disappears in the window when raised

Solar weaves are the usual answer for a great room or a west-facing slider, where you want the view and the water but not the afternoon heat. Blackout fabric is the answer in bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms.

Openness is the one choice worth making in person. We bring sample screens so you can hold them against your own window and see how much view each weave keeps.

Not sure how open to go?

We bring sample screens and blackout fabric so you can compare them against your own window before deciding.
